Friday, September 28th, 2007Ashkar Music & Dance composes, performs and records authentic Middle Eastern music – Arabic music, Persian music Turkish music and Oriental Jewish music – including improvisations on the Arabic and Turkish Maqams (Taqasim). Featuring a unique playing style on the oud (’ud), our music comes from the soul.
