Hi Ayelet and Yuval,
I enjoyed your music and dancing last night in Ocean Shore’s community centre. It was a wonderful event, which was reflected by the crowd’s participation and dancing on the floor.
If you don’t mind, allow me suggesting some feedback of my own:
Being an Israeli I would emphasise the fact that the music you play is indeed Arab music and being played and danced by Israelis deliver a strong message of peace.
When you announced Ronit’s “free hug”, an Aussie couple who set next to me asked me if it was a Hebrew kind of tradition…well we all know that they can’t tell the difference between Jewish (religion) and Israeli (nationality) and they have mixed the Arab music, the hugs and the fact you are from Israel all together.
You could also deliver this message of peace in your ad for Arabian Nights by stating each player’s nationality as well, which could also enhance the internationality of your group.
I have just recently arrived to Ocean Shores, I have known Yehuda and Hagit for 15 years in Israel and I am friends with Orit and Gami, Ronit and Gal as well.
See you in your next concert,
